Super Villain

2015SUPERVI_J4The Fringe is awash with shows about Super Heroes and Super Villains this year. No doubt there is a big market for this kind of thing. However unless this particular show gets an overhaul of Hulk-like proportions it’s probably best avoiding.

Fair play to him – the sole performer did say that his partner was a no-show and unless this was going to be Sue Richards there’s really not much potential there. And judging what actually was there Reed Richards would find it a stretch to make it funny.

I think a show really is in trouble when the highlight is the performer having his very first sip of Irn Bru. The irony isn’t lost when at one point it’s suggested that the audience dies. The Riddler would have a field day with that one.

To sum up even Peter Parker wouldn’t be able to stick around to the end.
